I loved every moment of my first time as a Lains Barn Wedding Photographer. Nestled in the Oxfordshire countryside, Lains Barn is a stunning, beautifully restored wedding venue. The venue is full of wonderful original features and stunning backdrops including the grain store and views over the rolling Oxfordshire landscape. The barn’s timber vaulted roof has over 250 years of history. Although it holds 170 it is still a wonderfully intimate space for your wedding ceremony. The Lains Barn venue centres around a lovely lawn and terrace with the barn, bar, and sheltered seating forming a U shape around. Conequently, creates an atmospheric space with a range of spaces, inside and out to enjoy. One of my favourite features was the outdoor pizza oven with SERIOUSLY good pizza!
Demi and Jake’s wedding was full of love and laughter. It was a privilege to photograph such an special day for them.
Their day started with getting ready photos. The Bride prepared at the splendid setting of Barton House just minutes away from Lains. We then made the short journey to the barn itself for a personal and moving ceremony. The ceremony was followed by confetti and group photos. Then everyone enjoyed the late September sun in the beautiful outdoor space at the centre of the venue which was perfect for a full group photo! Later, the Bride and Groom snuck away for some special wedding day portraits making the most of the amazing views of the Wessex Downs. The Wedding Breakfast was followed by some memorable and emotional speeches before the evening party got going!
